What the data can do
Use it to understand a past offer cycle.
- Compare two Selective Enrollment schools using the same CPS offer cycle.
- See citywide totals immediately and add your address tier only if you know it.
- See the spread between the lowest, average, and highest initial offer.
- Build a broader school list without treating one historical cutoff as destiny.
What it cannot do
It cannot calculate admission chances.
Point totals change with applicants, available seats, policies, and scoring. CPS also says the HSAT is moving to PreACT 9 Secure and that further score-conversion details will be published. Historical totals may therefore be less comparable with the next cycle.

Direct transcription, not a Tutendo ranking.
Tutendo transcribed the five rows published for each of the 11 Selective Enrollment high school programs: Rank and Tiers 1–4. Values were checked against the rendered one-page CPS document. We did not normalize, weight, infer, or combine them into a score.
“Rank” is the CPS label for the first 30% of seats, offered by citywide point order regardless of tier. CPS divides the remaining 70% equally across Tiers 1–4. “Minimum” is the lowest point total in that pool that received an initial offer.
